Water comes in many forms in nature and in man’s use of it. To an artist water is fascinating and can be difficult to paint. This year River Ridge Association of Fine Art’s challenge for the Liberty Gallery Show is water, in any form, place, use and imagination. One drop, an ocean, storms, a wet dog, slippery footprints, the list could go on and on.
The artists in the show have used many ideas, different medium and sizes, traditional styles to abstract, up close or far away for the show viewers to contemplate.
We hope that people will stop a minute, view our efforts and think or comment, Yes, that’s just the way it is, or I’ve been there or always wanted to go. Whatever emotion the art evokes, wistful, happy, contemplative and more, this show is for the viewers, enjoy!
