Hi, I am Tori Chamberlain-Bailey and welcome to the Pottery Place
Plus. I specialize in hand made candles, soaps, body scrubs and bath
salts. I started making candles when I became dissatisfied with the
quality and price of candles that can be found in the better retail
stores. The scents didn't last or weren't there when the candle was
burning and even a modestly sized candle was $20.00. From that modest
begining with a desire for quality and economy I started Bungalow
Craftworks. In 2004 I joined Pottery Place Plus a cooperative of local
artists and craftspeople. All of our candles are handmade with the
highest quality paraffin wax and candle scents and use only non-lead
wicks. Each is unique in its combination of color and finish.
The scent is infused throughout the entire candle unlike
some major name retailers.Wicks are matched to candle size for proper
burning All of our soaps are handmade with quality ingredients. These
are not Melt and Pour soaps and no soap base is used. There are no
animal products used (tallow, lanolin) and no preservatives are added.
Scenting is done with pure essential oils unless otherwise noted and
have additional oils added for a creamy lather and non-drying clean.
The rich bath salts are mixed right here using a blend of
salts to soften the water, milk for softening the skin and pure
essential oils for their great scent and beneficial properties.
The luxurious body scrubs are created using a blend of salts
to exfoliate, oils for softening the skin and pure essential oils for
their great scent and beneficial properties.
