My name is Dave Henke and I am a Pipe Fitter by trade. I was
with the Local 44 Plumbers and Pipefitters for 23 years before
taking early retirement. I had a shop built in the back of my proporty
in 1996 and finished the inside in 2003. At that time I had a chance for
early retirement and jumped on it. With lots of free time on my hands
I made my first wine rack for my wife. I then started to make the for
other family memebers and friends and got such a positive response I
started to do art shows in the area. From there I expanded to wine dogs
and cats and the line has grown from there to other animals, trucks,
motorcycles and yard art. Many people mistake some of my work as being
made of stainless steel and this is not correct. The metal I do use will
rust so I do put an exterior clear coat on them so they will weather
fairly well. If you don't want them to rust they do require a little
care after purchase. My work is also guaranteed do should something
happen I will gladly repair.
